World Languages

Tucson Unified School District (TUSD) offers Spanish, French, German, Latin, American Sign Language, as well as, critical languages such as Russian, Chinese, and Arabic. TUSD's Distance Learning Department also offers online learning for 30 languages through Rosetta Stone.

The goal of TUSD's Global Language Department is to provide curriculum, testing, and tools for global language teachers, so that they can provide consistency in instruction for students to have greater opportunities to enter college, compete and succeed in a global economy.
