What do we do with last year’s DIBELS Next test booklets?

Last year’s Benchmark booklets can be recycled. However, shred identifying information from front cover. For Progress Monitoring booklets, shred the cover and recycle the used tests. Place a new teacher copied cover on the front page of the Progress Monitoring booklet and continue to use the rest of the passages. All scores are recorded in the database and are accessible to each student’s teachers and school.

When a student transfers to another school during the school year, what do we do with their DIBELS Next test booklets?

Send DIBELS Next Benchmark and Progress Monitoring booklets to the receiving school.
