The Governing Board authorizes District sponsored student travel out-of-state within the United States. Such travel should relate directly to instructional programs.

The Superintendent of Schools or designee may approve requests for out-of-state travel within the United States based upon the request's satisfactory adherence to the standards and rules which are contained in Governing Board Policy 6153, Student Travel.
