The District recognizes the historic and cultural heritage in the Tucson community. Historic preservation within the District's land use and building development process will seek to identify, study, and sustain historic, architectural, and cultural values where feasible and compatible with the continuing educational mission of the School District.

The District's land use and building development process will incorporate and consider all historical and cultural sites and structures in accordance with all applicable state and local laws and ordinances.
