Public hearing on School Master Plan scheduled for Oct. 15

The TUSD Governing Board has scheduled a public hearing on the School Master Plan for Oct. 15 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Catalina High School, 3645 E. Pima St. The hearing will be held in the school's auditorium. The public is invited to share their ideas and comments on how TUSD should best resolve a $17 million budget shortfall projected for 2013-2014.
The public hearing is one of many opportunities the community has to be heard on the issues. Other chances included participating by offering feedback online or by attending town halls or open houses. See the Virtual Open House for a comparison of proposed scenarios.
An additional School Master Plan open house is scheduled for Oct. 18 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at Pueblo High School, 3500 S. 12th Ave.
Public workshops and meetings will be scheduled in November. Please check back for updated information.
