Memo about District Deficit and Prop 204 from TUSD's Chief Financial Officer >>
On November 6, 2012, Arizona voters will vote on Proposition 204 - Quality Education & Jobs Initiative. TUSD cannot advocate for any measures that are on the ballot, but the district can provide you with information.
What happens to funding for district and charter schools (including TUSD) if Proposition 204 passes?
For specific information about the affect of Proposition 204 on the future of Tucson Unified School District, review the TUSD School Master Plan scenario page. As part of the School Master Plan, six scenarios have been developed. Three address the $17 million deficit, and the other three scenarios assume the passage of Proposition 204 and no deficit.
