Magee Middle School art students competed in the 11th annual student student design and build contest, "Kidstruction 2012." This competition, held during Architecture Week and sponsored by the Southern Arizona Chapter of the Society for Design Administration, celebrates Arizona's Centennial.

Each team chooses a category in which to construct models made entirely from business cards, toothpicks, and glue. Magee's teams received four of the twelve total awards.

Miss Mitchell, Magee's visual art teacher, says, "I would like to thank all the Magee art students for their hard work, dedication, creativity, and construction of their models."

Trophies and the winning models will be on display in the Magee Library.
