About our Programs

TUSD's Early Childhood Exceptional Education program is designed to meet the individual educational needs of children 3-5 years of age who have identified developmental delays in one or more of the following areas through the Child Find process:

  • personal/social
  • adaptive
  • motor
  • communication
  • cognitive

Our Programs

  • Project ABLE provides developmental classes in a structured, consistent environment.
  • Partners (offers a less restrictive, structured, yet secure environment, where a child experiences a developmentally appropriate program, funded by FTF scholarship for typical peers.)
  • Explorer Preschool (offers a less restrictive, structured, yet secure environment, where a child experiences a developmentally appropriate program.)
  • Itinerant Services provide supplemental instruction to children placed in Head Start , community child care/preschools and PACE.
