We are off to study and travel in Ulleungdo, Korea!

The four Tucson Korea Ambassadors will stay with Korean families, attend Ulleungdo Middle School and experience directly what it is like to be a student in Korea. Students and teachers will be in Korea from May 26th to June 9th.

Hari Nepal, Catalina High Senior

Hari Nepal, senior at Catalina High School, was honored on March 17th by the Soroptomist International of Tucson
with the Violet Richardson award of $1,000 for her outstanding work in the Bhutanese community.

Tucson Korea Ambassador Program
The 2011 Tucson Korea Ambassador Program’s visit to the Biosphere.

During the month of January, 23 students from Shinangun and Ulleungdo, S. Korea were hosted by the communities of
Safford and Townsend K-8. Student ambassadors from both schools were partnered with the Korean students to build new, global friendships.
