GATE students develop kaleidoscopes to explore the question "What is light?"
What is Light? GATE Students Discover the Secret
Students in Kevan Kiser-Chuc's GATE class explored the question, "What is light?" After research, discussions, and experimentations, the students created kaleidoscopes to demonstrate light reflection and refraction. This project included all aspects of gifted lesson modification:

Ms. Kiser-Chuc reports that "the students felt quite successful and took pride in their problem-solving... You can see it on their faces."
