The newest Art-a-Fact display

The newest Art-a-Fact display

The newest display in the Art-a-Fact area is currently under construction and as yet unnamed. Inspired partly by Green Schools, the exhibit explores relationships between people, culture, food, water, and the environment through the lens of native cultures.

Art-a-Fact Archives

Art-a-Fact was designed to facilitate creating lesson plans integrating arts and artifacts. Art-a-Fact contains sample lessons as well as a wide selection of available materials to use with lessons. In addition, Educational Materials Center will be offering workshops to help you develop your own lessons.

ˇFlores!

Educational Materials Center celebrated the flowers of the Southwest and Mexico through the work of artists like Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo, and Georgia O’Keeffe. EMC has bibliographies on Diego, Frida, and Georgia. Fine and Performing Arts has Online Integrated Arts lessons (available on the TUSD intranet) on Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo. EMC has a wealth of resource material like textiles, artifacts, and exhibits from Central and South America, all available for checkout to teachers.
